On Saturday October1st, the remains of an unknown person were found in the Clayhole community of Breathitt County.
Breathitt County Coroner Hargis Epperson confirmed that human remains were found. The remains were sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office and Dental Records & DNA are being used to attempt to positively identify the body.
State Police & Fish & Wildlife contacted Coroner Epperson Saturday to inform him of the remains that were found.
