Lovely, KY. (March 3, 2021) – Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post received a call on Tuesday March 2, 2021 just before 12:00 pm where the caller advised a possible deceased female had been located.
KSP troopers and detectives responded to the area. The initial investigation indicated April Brewer, 40 years old of Lovely, was located deceased along River Front Road. The area where Brewer was located had previously been submerged due to recent flooding in the area. Brewer’s body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The cause of death is still under investigation. No foul play is suspected.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by Detective Joseph Coleman. Detective Coleman was assisted on scene by Kentucky State Police Post 9 personnel and Belfry Volunteer Fire Department.
