KSP Seeking Public’s Help Identifying Subject in Floyd County Theft

Ivel, KY. (September 25, 2020) – The Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male subject involved in the theft of a John Deere Gator UTV from Blackburn Lawn Equipment in Ivel, Kentucky. On Thursday, September 24, 2020, at approximately 4:23 a.m., video surveillance shows a male subject enter the property of Blackburn Lawn Equipment at Conn Street in Ivel, steal the UTV and leave the property. The subject was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Subject arrived on the property riding a bicycle.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this subject is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 9 at 606-433-7711 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555.  Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.  The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
