JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers using KY 15 near the southern end of the Hazard bypass should expect delays the morning of Saturday, Aug. 15, for installation of overhead utility lines.
The work will take place at milepost 11.001, between Bulldog Lane (the entrance to Hazard High School and the Hal Rogers Center) and the end of the Hazard bypass near the entrance to Hardee’s. It is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and should be completed by 12 p.m.
Motorists should expect intermittent delays of up to 15 minutes while this work is ongoing. Those who wish to avoid delays may choose to use KY 451 (East Main Street/Christopher Road) as an alternate route.
Should the work be postponed, updates will be posted on District 10’s Facebook page.
