London, Ky. (April 22, 2019) – On Sunday, April 21, 2019 at approximately 11:30 PM, Trooper Steve Walker stopped a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck on Cromer Ridge Road in Laurel County after he observed the operator commit several traffic violations.
Upon further investigation, Trooper Walker determined the operator Timmy L. Fields, 57, of East Bernstadt to be under the influence of drugs. During a search of the vehicle approximately 2 ½ pounds of suspected methamphetamine was located along with drug paraphernalia.
Fields was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs and several other traffic charges.
His passenger, Traci L. Rayburn, 44, of London was arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Trooper Walker is continuing the investigation. He was assisted by Troopers from Post 11 and London City Police Department.
